When you book a trek through our website or app, you confirm that you have read and understood our terms and conditions. A contract is formed when we receive your full payment and send you a Confirmation Invoice. If you're booking for a group, you're responsible for ensuring that everyone understands and agrees to the terms.
Our itineraries are designed by experienced professionals. While we aim to stick to the planned schedule, changes may be necessary due to unforeseen events like bad weather, landslides, or strikes. If any changes result in additional costs, those will be your responsibility. Please note that travel distances and times are approximate, so allow for flexibility. We recommend adding a buffer day before your departure to avoid any last-minute issues. This day can also be used for local sightseeing if everything goes smoothly.
We reserve the right to change prices without notice. If you don't complete your booking with full payment, the quoted price may change. Additionally, if costs increase for transportation, accommodations, or other services, those extra costs will be your responsibility.
Please keep in mind that our prices are based on a minimum group size. If we don't meet that minimum, we may merge groups or cancel the trek, discussing the options with you first.
We occasionally offer discounts on specific treks. However, once you have made a purchase, those rates will not change. Discounts apply only to the trek price itself and do not include extras like gear rentals.
We require 100% payment in advance. In some cases, you can reserve your spot with a deposit and pay the remaining balance later. If payment isn't completed within the specified time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and may allocate your spot to another customer without notice. Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide a refund in this situation.
Our payment system is secure and trusted through Razorpay.
Contact us at bookings@surmountadventures.com. Changes are subject to availability and may involve fees.
No refunds will be provided for any unused services, such as accommodation, meals, or transport. These services are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
During our treks, accommodation typically involves multi-sharing in guesthouses or tents. Single occupancy may incur extra charges. All accommodations are basic but clean and hygienic. Please bring your own toiletries.
We may use subcontractors for transportation, but all drivers are qualified and experienced. You are responsible for your own luggage, so please double-check that you have everything before leaving the vehicle.
Pickup usually happens early in the morning from a centralized location within the city. If you're delayed, we allow a 30-minute buffer. However, if you miss the pickup, you'll need to make your own way to the base camp at your own cost. Drop-off will generally be at the same location in the evening.
All of our trek leaders and guides are trained professionals with extensive experience, dedicated to ensuring your safety and enjoyment.
Surmount Adventures does not provide travel or medical insurance. We highly recommend that all trekkers obtain their own insurance. Our team can help you connect with third-party insurance providers, but you'll be responsible for the payment and coverage terms.
Please inform us in writing about any medical or physical conditions at the time of booking. Failure to notify us could result in cancellation without a refund.
Smoking and drinking alcohol during the trek are strictly prohibited. Violating this rule may result in being removed from the trek without a refund.
We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government regulations. Any additional costs arising from such circumstances will be your responsibility.
We strive to ensure your safety during treks, but adventure activities come with inherent risks. You may need to sign a waiver acknowledging this before starting your trek.
If you encounter any issues during your trek, please notify your trek leader immediately or email us at contact@surmountadventures.com. If your complaint isn't resolved during the trek, please reach out to us within seven days of returning home.
We may ask for personal information for dietary or medical needs, which will be kept confidential. You can request to see this information during our regular business hours.
By booking with Surmount Adventures, you confirm that you have read and understood all the points mentioned in this document. We look forward to providing you with an unforgettable adventure!
