Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Dehradun
- Departure: Board the train from H Nizamuddin Railway Station at 11:00 PM.
Day 2: Dehradun to Sankri- Drive Distance: 220 KM, 8 hours
- Details: The drive from Dehradun to Sankri takes you through picturesque landscapes and small hill towns like Mussoorie, Purola, Mori.
Day 3: Sankri to Dhatmer, Dhatmer to Pauni Gharat Village- Drive Distance: 18 KM, 1.5 hours
- Trek Distance: 7 KM, 5-6 hours
- Details: Drive from Sankri to Dhatmer, Continue your trek and get glimpses of the surrounding mountains like Ruinsara peak, Black peak and other ranges along with passing through small villages. Also, walk close to the beautiful Supin river and listen to it gushing as trek to Puani Garat. On reaching, settle at your campsite followed by an overnight stay at your first camp.
Day 4: Pauni Gharat to Seematra- Trek Distance: 5 KM, 4 hours
- Details: Wake up in the scenic views of the snow-capped mountain peaks and prepare to leave the campsite. Begin your trek towards Seematra, through the alpine meadows, crossing streams and rocky paths. On your way, enjoy the scenery of Black Peak, Bandarpunch range and others as you reach the beautiful Osla village, the last village on the Har ki Dun trek route. Continue your trek to reach Seematra, settle in your campsite and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 5: Seematra to Har ki Dun Summit, Marinda Tal & back to Seematra- Trek Distance: 16 KM, 10 hours
- Details: Today is the day you finally witness the beauty of Har Ki Dun Valley! Start with a hearty breakfast amid the mountains before setting off. The trail is a mix of steep and moderate ascents, with snow patches adding to the surreal beauty. You'll pass through picturesque meadows and dense forests, following a river to the Har Ki Dun summit. The views of Swargarohini I Peak, Hata Peak, and Black Peak are spellbinding. Har Ki Dun Valley is a paradise with towering peaks and lush meadows. At the top, you'll find a small temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The tranquility and grandeur of the place make it evident why it's called the 'way to heaven.' Enjoy the stunning views, capture photographs, and soak in the serene surroundings.
Day 6: Seematra to Dhatmer Village- Trek Distance: 12 KM, 8 hours
- Details: Retrace your steps back to Dhatmer Village, passing through the same scenic route.
Day 7: Dhatmer to Sankri to Dehradun- Drive Distance: 240 KM, 10 hours
- Details: Drive from Dhatmer to Sankri and then continue to Dehradun in our private vehicle.
Day 8: Dehradun to DelhiThis itinerary ensures you experience the best of the Har Ki Dun trek, with a mix of driving and trekking through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Uttarakhand.
